"Can I see your new toilet?"
I'm sure when Dan moved into town he didn't realize getting a new toilet would draw a crowd. Well, not a crowd, but the request to see the new toilet did happen more than once. I suppose it warrants mention that the toilet that used to occupy the space had been there for 50+ years. The lid on the new toilet has to sit a little askew but otherwise it's all good!

Wow! I didn't think it could happen. I'll bet Dan never thought his toilet would be on a blog either.:>D
Oh My God!!! Who inherits the old toilet? Lots of the Pratt family went through that old toilet, so it must have some sentimental value to someone. Perhaps it could be put on the front lawn and violets planted in it. Well, the old house just won't be the same anymore... are you sure this action is in line with Mother's wishes???
That comment about "lots of the Pratt family went through that old toilet" is a bunch of crap.
It really wasn't much of a decision, the old toilet was cracked in five places. It has been laid to rest in an undisclosed location. If it's any comfort the upstairs toilet remains in all its glory and is once again functional.
I hope Eddie's toilet is still there!
Dan has a great plan for the askew tank lid. At least you can lift the lid and the seat. Notice the new vinyl flooring under the toilet. That was to level the floor but will make cleaning easier too. Aaah, progress. I've already thought about planting flowers in it, but Ed says it can't be anywhere that he has to mow around it.
How about mounting it on top of the old maple tree stump.
Yes, I like that idea! How does Dan feel about that? Hope can climb up and plant the flowers in it. She's been up there before.
Fortunately Sibling #1 and Sibling #2 no longer have any say in the matter. The real question is... "What would Margaret do?" (WWMD).
