Mom and I went to the Revolution's 2nd home game this past Sunday. It was a chilly, rainy afternoon. The Revvies lost 0-2 and I'm woman enough to admit that I might have played a part in the loss. You see, I only have one piece of semi-waterproof clothing so I brought that to the game. It is a pullover that I got from LL Bean and I picked the color, orange, because I figured I would be more visible when walking Jak, especially during hunting season. The Revvies played Houston on Sunday and guess what color Houston's away jerseys are? Yup, orange. There I was sitting in the middle of the season ticket holders section wearing orange. (She hangs her head in shame.)
Sorry Revvies. I won't however take any blame for the beating the Revvies took at Rio Tinto Stadium a few weeks ago. Losing 0-6, isn't there a mercy rule in MLS?
